Adult Sunday School Class - Messengers

For more information about this The Messengers, contact:Viaretta Hardison viarettaj@aol.com (405) 475-9763

"The Messengers" is a Sunday School Class made up of a cross-section of the church, both in ages and ministries.

Using the Radiant Life curriculum, which covers the entire Bible in a 7 year cycle, pupils receive study guides each quarter, enabling them to be prepared to participate in the discussion.

Members of the class are involved in many and varied ministries, both within the church walls and reaching outside the church to the needy world.

Some Examples of Messengers Ministries:

Jack and Helen Bell are very active in a one on one jail ministry and thus are greatly used of God outside the church as well as follow-up within the church.

Virginia Hodges heads up a group that prepares funeral dinners for families in their time of grief.

Beverly and Jay Coffman conducts the "Sundowners" -- a monthly fellowship for Senior Adults. This activity is open to both the people of Cathedral of the Hills as well as those of other churches or no church at all. This is a large group of fun-loving people who get together in Beverly's home for great fellowship, food and fun.

Helen Bell assists with recording offerings at the church on a weekly basis.

Sonja Roberts, Jo Boydston ad Virginia Hodges and others assist Pastor Walker in Pastoral Care ministries by volunteering their time to regularly visit the people who are home-bound or are confined to a nursing home...taking them treats on spedial occasions, etc.

Earnest Berry faithfully serves the Lord in hospital visitation and followup.

Jeff and Andrea Agosta join others in the baby nursery, ministering to the youngest among us.

Sonja and Monty Roberts help Bob Walker with the Goodtimers ministry.
